ATHLETICS

Well done to everyone who ran (the full course) at the cross-country on Wednesday 9th October. There were many really good runs and some exciting finishes.  Clerk Maxwell won the overall competition with Liddell 2nd and Stevenson 3rd.  A full list of winners and competitors is up on the PE Dept door. Our thanks go to the 6th year for their help officiating.


JUDO

Congratulations to 2 of our students who competed in the British Judo Championships on the weekend of 10-11 October 2009.  Both students did extremely well in the championships with one securing a Bronze Medal in the Cadet age group.  An outstanding achievement.

Congratulations to AM and GML selected for the East Region U16 Boys (who finished 3rd)and U18 Girls (who finished 2nd) respectively in the recent Scottish championships. AM was East player of the tournament.
