S1-6 WHO WOULD YOU VOTE FOR?

Register teachers could you read and discuss the following.

Who would you vote for in the General Election? This week: education policy.

SNP

50% increase in provision of free nursery education to 3 & 4 year olds

Implementing current school building programme

Reviewed modern apprenticeships to make sure that skills being taught match skills gaps

Labour

“has doubled the amount spent per pupil since 1997 from £2,900 to over £5,850 today”

Conservatives

“will make it easier for teachers to use reasonable force to deal with violent and disruptive students”

Liberal Democrats

We will cut class sizes, more money for things like one to one tuition and classes in the evenings.

Liberal Democrats are the only party which believes university education should be free.

SKETCH CLUB REMINDER

Despite a lot of interest at the Career's Fair and a lot people asking "Sir, how did you draw the Joker?", only a few people are coming along to Sketch Club!  If you fancy giving it a go or just want to pick up some tips, come along to Miss Dixon's room on Thursday lunchtimes (bring your lunch as well!).  Remember, all levels of ability are welcome: from amateurs to artistes!

Mr Bradshaw

GYM KEYS – S6

Would all S6 who use the gym during their PE lesson please check to see if they have a school key.  We appear to be a few keys short!  Thank you!
