HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR MEETING
If you are interested in meeting a Holocaust survivor and hearing his story then come to the Dalkeith Schools Campus on Monday 15th March from 7-9pm. This event is open to the general public and is free. Our survivor, Rudi Oppenheimer will be our guest speaker at this event. He was imprisoned with his family from 1940 to 1945 in various concentration camps, ending up at
Belsen at the same time as Anne Frank. She died there just before liberation, but Rudi was put on the last train out of the camp and so was in captivity for several months more before he was freed by the Russians.
