If any club swimmer would like to enter the above competition please come to the PE department with your times for your event.  Time trials will be held on Sunday 31 October at Ainslie Park Leisure Centre.  Swimmers are permitted to swim in 2 events.

BOOK FESTIVAL VISIT

Students who were on the Book Festival trip to hear author Mal Peet may be interested to know that the School Library has 3 of the titles that were discussed, i.e. “Keeper”, “The Penalty” and “Exposure”.  These books would make a worthwhile read and can be borrowed from the Library.

The named students are going to the Book Festival, Book Fair Charlotte Square, on Monday 30 August 2010. They will be absent periods 1, 2 and 3, but should be back for period 4.

Wednesday 1 September – S3

Thursday 2 September - S4

Friday 3 September – S5/6

Pupils should bring the form, signed by their parent/carer, with payment, to the office on the appropriate day.
