Penicuik High School’s student film company [PeniProductions] is looking for students who would like to be involved in making short films or animation.

No experience necessary!

If you would like to join up or find out more, please come to launch meeting on Wednesday 8 September at 3.30pm in Mr Bryce’s room (47).

There will be a Special Assembly for S1 and S6 pupils on Monday 6 September. Pupils should go straight to the Assembly Hall. House Assemblies will continue as usual from Tuesday 7 September.

BOOK FESTIVAL

S2 students who visited the Book Festival to hear the award winning author David almond may be interested to know that the school library has the following titles:

‘Heaven Eyes’, ‘Kit’s Wilderness’, ‘Secret Heart’ and ‘Skellig’

Students may also be interested to know that earlier this year David Almond was awarded the ‘Hans Christian Anderson Author Award’ which is the world’s most prestigious prize in children’s literature.

REMINDER - S3 BOYS UNDER 15 FOOTBALL

Practice for any S3 boys, born in 1996 or later, will take place every Thursday from 3.30pm-4.30pm starting TODAY.  Boys should meet in PE and practice will take place on the astro-turf with Mr Hunter
